Prospectr was founded in Minneapolis in 2006. We started with cold email. We added channels as clients asked for them. We never lost sight of the one metric that matters: qualified leads your sales team can actually close.

Our Story

Travis Piepho started Prospectr after a frustrating observation: most B2B businesses had great products and services, but terrible pipelines. They relied on referrals, had no outbound motion, and spent money on marketing that didn't tie back to revenue.

Cold email was the answer, systematic, measurable, scalable. But it had to be done right: the right ICP, the right data, the right copy, the right sending infrastructure. Everything we've built since then, the 200M+ contact database, the Instantly setup, the AI personalization layer, the multi-channel expansion, traces back to that original conviction: outbound works when it's done properly.

Today we run campaigns for 225 active clients. Franchise systems, SaaS companies, commercial service operators, professional services firms. With 20+ years in B2B and B2C marketing and business development, Travis has led Prospectr to become one of the most results-driven lead generation firms in the country, serving 1,000+ clients across 40+ verticals and delivering more than 42,000 qualified leads to date. He pioneered the performance-first pricing model that defines Prospectr today, and developed the Prospectr Predictable Revenue System, a proprietary framework combining a 200M+ B2B contact database, AI-personalized email outreach, multi-domain sending infrastructure, and battle-tested copy sequences. Travis has worked with names like Stratus Building Solutions, System4, Jan-Pro, and Corvus Janitorial, growing clients from startup territories to $75K+/month recurring revenue businesses - with some clients adding over $1.4M in annual recurring revenue attributable to Prospectr campaigns. He is the founder of Lighting Partners (national lighting franchise system) and co-founder of Every Detail Solar.

Dan is a Co-Founder and Partner at Prospectr Digital, bringing more than 41 years of business development experience across B2B and B2C markets. Over his career, Dan has founded, operated, and exited more than 16 companies - giving him a practitioner's perspective on what actually drives revenue at every stage of business growth. He co-founded Prospectr Digital alongside Travis in 2006, and the client-first methodology at Prospectr's core - precision targeting, ICP-first data, performance-based billing - reflects principles Dan has applied across four decades of building businesses. He is also co-founder of Lighting Partners (national lighting franchise system) and co-founder and CEO of Every Detail Solar. Based in Minneapolis, Dan remains actively involved in operations, client strategy, and business development.

A Note from the Founder

Why I built this -- and why I'm still here.

I started Prospectr in 2006 because I kept watching good businesses fail to grow for the wrong reason. It was never the product. It was never the service. It was always the pipeline. They had no repeatable way to find new customers, and without that, every month was a gamble.

Cold email was the answer I kept coming back to. Systematic. Measurable. Scalable. But only when it's done right -- the right data, the right copy, the right infrastructure, sent to the right person at the right company. When those variables line up, it is one of the highest-ROI outbound channels available to a service business. When they don't, it's expensive noise.

Over the past 20 years I have personally managed more than 2,000 client revenue generation projects. Franchise networks, commercial cleaning operators, staffing firms, solar companies, professional services -- businesses of every size and structure. What I learned is that the fundamentals never change. Serve the right buyer. Deliver a clear message. Follow up consistently. Track what works and do more of it.

We have helped clients go from zero to $75K+ per month in recurring revenue. We have worked with franchise systems operating across dozens of territories. Some clients have attributed over $1.4M in annual recurring revenue directly to campaigns we built together. Those results do not happen by accident.
